new fencing equipment came today!

well, not new. but i had to exchange my jacket and underarm guard because they didn't fit right. now everything fits! wheeeeeee. i was going to wear it around the office all day, but my coworkers told me, in no uncertain terms, no. meanie coworkers.

i also got some pvc pipe to make sure my sword doesn't break again.

in other news, brain still asleep. not quite sure what to do about that. perhaps caffeine is in order. ooooo. iced white chocolate mocha.

Oh, yes. He was a college frosh and I was a soph in high school. (I was very mature! And we were only 2 1/2 years apart in age.) Anyway, he joined the fencing team. Alas, I never watched him in a meet. But I did see him in his fencing gear. He struck a few poses and... yeah. If his family hadn't been in the next room... ;)
