new fencing equipment came today!

well, not new. but i had to exchange my jacket and underarm guard because they didn't fit right. now everything fits! wheeeeeee. i was going to wear it around the office all day, but my coworkers told me, in no uncertain terms, no. meanie coworkers.

i also got some pvc pipe to make sure my sword doesn't break again.

in other news, brain still asleep. not quite sure what to do about that. perhaps caffeine is in order. ooooo. iced white chocolate mocha.

Wheeee, new fencing clothes! I don't know why your coworkers won't let you wear them in the office. I think fencing gear looks hot. (Because I'm silly. And an old boyfriend used to fence...) Wait - maybe that's why. They'd be too distracted. ;)

Oh, yes. He was a college frosh and I was a soph in high school. (I was very mature! And we were only 2 1/2 years apart in age.) Anyway, he joined the fencing team. Alas, I never watched him in a meet. But I did see him in his fencing gear. He struck a few poses and... yeah. If his family hadn't been in the next room... ;)

Yay new gear! Coworkers = Lame. I always enjoy changing into my knickers before I leave the office, because (1) they wonder what the hell I'm wearing, and (2) I get to snicker about the word "knickers." I am twelve.

okay, I was a LITTLE too happy to put the guards on my swords. but now, everything is in my bag! WHOO!

I've worn my knickers (BWA!) in the office before.. right before I head over to fencing. really, wearing the jacket would have been too hot. but it looked really good with my jeans. ;)
