big thanks to queenofattolia for the all the awesome suggestions re. my peanut butter cookie conundrum! unfortunately, i apparently resembled julia roberts in pretty woman, and the local restaurant supply would not let me shop in their store. i was able, however, to buy a brand new shiny half cookie sheet from smart and final. i did not go back to the restaurant supply to gloat.

guess who will be making peanut butter cookies this evening, precious?

Heh. I hope they turn out well. And are you talking about the restaurant supply store on Walnut? They're totally weird! Whenever I go there, I can never find anyone to take my money -- they're all in the back playing poker or smoking hashish or something. Jeez. This is why I usually bite the bullet and make the trip to Culver City to Surfas - they have everything.
