okay, i've got like five million half-written posts that i've been trying to finish since like, *looks at lj calendar* ... uh, yeah. obviously, if i wait until i finish any one of them to post anything, well, who knows when i will post again?

so, to get back in the swing of things, i found a meme (somewhere? i don't know where...) that looks like it could be fun for all (read: you get to do most of the work!):

all you have to do is comment to this post with questions you'd like to know about me. whatever strikes your fancy. it can be as simple as "what's your favorite movie?" (actually, if you know me at all, you know that's not a simple question) to "how old were you when you got your first kiss?" or whatever. fandom-related questions are allowed, of course!

it's like spin the bottle, but with no bottle. and no closet. and no kissing of any kind really. and the non-existent bottle is pointed forever at me.

number of eps? if they're smart - one ep.

actual length of time? knowing sam and how angry he is likely to be - i'd guess no more than a week. but then again, time might work differently in hell! ;)

supernatural, the office.. yeah, that's about it. actually, i'm ridiculously excited about my summer shows starting up: mad men, the closer, saving grace, monk, psych, BURN NOTICE.

What exactly do you do?
you know, it's never really been made clear to me. ;) no, really. it's boring and you don't really want to know. i don't really want to know most days. :)

hmm! that's kind of a hard one. i don't know if i have a favorite restaurant, but there are definitely favorite places i like to get certain types of food.

i like "quality" for their biscuits. doughboys has the best red velvet cake. yummy cupcakes has the best cupcakes this side of magnolia bakery. ralph brennan's jazz cafe has the best beignets. even though i hate barney's with the fire of a thousand suns, i love having brunch at barney greengrass because their lox are AWESOME. izzy's deli in santa monica has the best matzo ball soup, but canter's has the best potato pancakes (and the best macaroons - seriously, i don't know when their food got good, but yay for health inspections!). oh, and i can't forget tito's tacos in culver city. their tacos are pretty good... but their food is still not as good as ramona's in gardena.

um, yeah. i could go on for a while, but i think you get the idea. :)

oh, and thanks! good to be back. at least, good to be posting SOMETHING again. let's see if i can keep it up! ;)

oh, man. i don't think lj has enough space! see, since it's like the room of requirement, it's expands to accommodate any number of folks... and some people have a lifetime pass, and some people have like a one-time only membership (sorta like at the gym, y'know?), and then you can have actors AND the characters they play.

here's a general list: jeff buckley (lifetime member!), jared, johnny depp (lifetime member!), orlando bloom, hugh dancy, the doctor #9, jim halpert, sam winchester, dean forester, sirius black, remus lupin, JAKE, chaaaaarlie eppes, rdj (he was away from us for a while, but now he's back!), josh lyman, jon stewart, stephen FREAKING colbert, STEVE JOBS (lifetime member - temp suspension until he builds me my awesome mactablet), angelina jolie (lifetime member for totally stealing my straight whenever she is on screen), david duchovny (lifetime member!), gary oldman, mickey (rose's old bf! he's so awesome.), jonny lee miller, morrissey, STING... duh, sherilyn fenn! kyle maclachlan! and agent cooper!

yeah, i could be here for DAYS. i think that gives you a good idea, though. i totally reserve the right to edit, modify, etc. this list AT WILL! ;)

of course, you had to ask the HARDEST QUESTION OF ALL THE QUESTIONS EVER. hmm. so i will have to list a couple.

"casablanca" - because it has perfect dialogue, perfect acting - just all around best movie ever.

"the princess bride" - one word: swordfighting.

"rosencrantz and guildenstern are dead" - i'm not sure if this counts because it started as a play, but i figure that stoppard wrote the script for both - if he didn't have a problem with it, why should i?

"blue velvet" - one awesome little fucked-up movie. lynch's best.

"zoolander" - dude, this movie is just... so stupid, yet whenever i watch it, it's always the best part of my day. i think that qualifies. :)

there are many more, but i think that covers it! :)
