i don't know what i did, but instead of my gloriously yummy peanut butter cookies, i instead created 2 dz peanut butter hockey pucks. i have a feeling that my new cookie sheet is to blame; over half of the cookies were completely burnt on the bottom! or perhaps i didn't make them big enough? that is also a possibility.

i planned on scoring points consulting with my grandma this weekend, but mom's advice actually helped quite a bit (i forgot that cookies do not go on the bottom rack). will be trying recipe again tonight because dammit my grade in chemistry was better than this! mrs. pavlich, i will not let you down!

rrrr, the curse of the new cookie sheets. it takes quite a bit of baking to get the right patina on them (this is why I will not throw away the gross sheets I have). I used to have to back the time down in the oven until they were "seasoned." you are welcome to hold out a day and use mine TOMORROW OMIGOD YAY STACY VISIT YAY
